This is what I said awhile back -- that the $ figures would eventually come down and it looks like they already are. The honeymoon phase is already ending and analytics will be applied and turn this more into a science. It will normalize very quickly.

The math says you are almost net negative ROI unless you make it multiple rounds in the NCAA tournament with any sort of investment or can somehow boost home attendance and revenues. I know I'm in the minority here, but It makes no sense for Indiana State to give funds to any program but basketball. Everything else is literally setting the money on fire.

Bingo! I just wonder how long a program like IU w endless money keeps pouring into kids that are 4/5 star recruits and don’t pan out. Them winning one game in ncaa won’t cut it

Obviously the larger schools will have more inputs into their NIL collective's collection plates, but yeah, if it doesn't translate into conference titles and tournament wins, you will see people close their wallets.

given the overall "wealth" of any, all of the Big 16 Ten; they'll spend dumb money longer than a mid-major; esp. that program -- they STILL consider themselves a 'Top 5' program
