With transfer portal being a the biggest thing in CBB offseason, how often will you see P5 schools deny the NIT so they can get ground running on the portal?

Seems like NIT will be a showcase for MM players to show p5s what they can do

As easy as it is for them to get in the Big Dance none of should accept an NIT bid - it’s embarrassing and unacceptable at this point if you can’t make the Big Dance. They should absolutely get a head start on the portal.

I'm not wanting to go to the NIT, but if our guys show up to prove a point, the NIT Final Four is at Hinkle this year. Could be a massive ISU crowd...
