The image of the Mo Val took a major hit last season, I would say his rankings accurately reflect what most outsiders saw. The MVC was down last year, wayyy down in my opinion. I can see why he left the Mo Val out of the top 10, this conf. really still needs to prove it belongs in the same category of those other conferences. We all know that the last 2 or 3 years the MVC has been steadily declining... Hopefully it will bounce back this year!
 
The league needs to reinstate the RPI rule for teams' schedules. When that rule was in effect, we were a multiple bid league with a Sweet Sixteen team virtually every year. Now, we've got our top teams (ahem...the other ISU) filling their scheds with the likes of Houston Baptist. What's next? New Jersey Institute of Technology?

And you don't have to play Duke, either. Fill up with the Nevadas and VCUs of the world...
 
agreed, when MVC teams play "high" mid majors they need to win them all, or as many as possible. And then win some of the games against the BCS schools as well.

losing to "low" mid majors, such as INS's loss to IUPUI in Indy last season, do not help!
