I went to the game and was less than impressed with South yet again. I watched nearly every South game last year and this year I have seen them play twice and each time it leaves me with a more bitter taste than before.
Don't call me a bandwagon fan or a fair whether fan or anything like that. You don't follow local high school athletics unless they are really good, you go to school or have a child going to school at the time, or you have an invested interest in watching them play (i.e. Sycamore fans would go to see Jake Odum).
South combined to score 6 points in 2 of the first 3 quarters of the game so I decided enough was enough and I walked myself to my car. North pretty much faced guarded Jarvis the entire game and just completely took him out of the game, he didn't do anything. Not that he has much help, but that dude has fallen off a cliff from early last year with Odum playing PG.
Gant looked pretty solid - not much to measure him to however.
