That McIntosh kid that people on here "wish for" every now and then is a very good player. However can you believe that as good as he may be Northwestern is having a typical year and once again will not be heading to the Dance? Hope he is getting a great education. For the record if you did not know:

"When is the last time that the Northwestern Wildcats have had a successful season in college basketball? Let’s put it this way: the Wildcats have never made the NCAA Tournament. Nope. Not once and not ever. So, will they ever be good?

Northwestern degree and he is still playing in the Big Ten. So what if he'll likely never make it to the big dance. I don't fault him at all but I'd sure have loved to have him.

Why put the kid down because they might not make the dance.....Northwestern is an awesome education and I wish him the best.

That's the one big thing that keeps me from disliking him. I don't know if anyone should turn down a free degree at a school Like Northwestern.
Of course, it's never a good thing to back out of a handshake deal.

Not sure I understand the point of this thread. We're not making it to the NCAA Tournament this year either. I'm sure he was aware of their basketball team's history when he signed his LOI.

Moving on...
