The Gray twins, a package deal, have offers from St. Peter's, UC Irvine, Northern Illinois, Illinois State and Indiana State, but Locke is working on keeping them closer to home.
"UIC came in late," Locke said. "(Coach) Howard Moore is a friend of mine. I told him to his face that he would be foolish not to take them, that he can't let these kids get away.
"I honestly think they can develop into better players than our guards. They have a great demeanor for big guys. They get hit a lot and play right through it. Nothing bothers them."
