Anyone know where to park at the Fairgrounds - inside the Fairgrounds or in one of the lots across the street???

There is tons of parking behind the Coliseum. I will warn you (that at least as of last weekend) the road in front of the coliseum was closed because of construction. It was quite a traffic pattern they had set up this past weekend.

So, I'll need to enter from Fall Creek Parkway? Or from the back side of the Fairgrounds?

"Parking on the campus of the Indiana State Fairgrounds is $5. The link at the top of this page directs fans to a parking map for the general public once inside the Fairgrounds campus. General public parking locations will be accessible from Gate 1 off 38th St., or Gate 6 off Fall Creek Parkway. Once parked, fans will enter the Coliseum from the north side of the building"

You still can enter from any of the three roads and you'll just have to follow the detour signs to the back lot. I was just out there today trying to pick up our tickets and I completely forgot it was a federal holiday so they were closed. The road in front of the facility is still torn up pretty good and they were out there working on it today. Sincerely doubt it will be complete by Friday.

That road has been under construction since right after State Fair and is not scheduled to be done until the end of the month. Been to a few hockey games and the easiest way, in my opinion, is to enter from Fall Creek. There are usually people out there to direct traffic to the parking area behind the Blue Ribbons Pavilion (building just east of Coliseum). Be ready to do steps in the Coliseum. There are a couple of elevators at each end of the lobby.

How long is Etherington suspended?

I believe it was a two game suspension for he and Scott, and the staff used the "secret" scrimmage (shh) and the exhibition against Trine as the two games so he will be playing against IUPUI.

I don't have a problem with Etherington coming back but still think Scott should had to sit out at least one real game. I would have sat him against IUPUI and St. Louis. With that being said, I am not close to the program and don't know how contrite Scott has been or how much Lansing already has made him work to get back in good graces. He may have already suffered enough and if he has proven to the staff AND his teammates that he understands the seriousness of his foul up, then I can understand the staff bringing him back so soon.

I would of sat him an additional game as well. Regardless I hope it has been made clear that he is on a zero tolerance policy when it comes to further infractions. He needs to walk the straight and narrow from now on and I trust that the staff has made him aware of this.

Im willing to bet Scott paid the price behind the scenes that everybody doesnt know. There's only so much a coach lets the public/media know. Arop got in trouble for a similar situation. Only difference is Scott's situation was off season so he had plenty of time to show the coaches he wont make that same mistake again. At least we hope not. To have his scholarship renewed meant he had to do alot to get back into Lansing's and the staff's good graces. Who knows, his mistake might turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Honestly if he did everything and more to get back on the team and being suspended for those 2 events count then Im ok with it. Sometimes you dont appreciate something until it gets taking away. So since that almost happened maybe he has put all his focus on school and basketball and cut out any outside distractions. It was a poor decision for sure. Time will only tell.
