It would be nice to steal a win but this will be an uphill battle. one of our former players/coaches Mike Simmonds is their co-OC. great guy. They will likely be in the playoffs if they win. the Dome is hard to win in but it will guarantee nice weather.

Awesome run by Booker on a checkdown pass and a few plays later we get into FG range on he opening drive. On 4th down we convert on a 48 yarder.

For some reason we try a 58 yard FG instead of going for it on 4th and 4. Blocked and UNI runs it back and now inside the ten yard line.

Sparks overthrows his receiver and is picked.
Sparks with another over thrown ball. Picked off. He has been high on most of his throws today but guys could catch them. This one wasn't even close.
UNI scores in 3 plays. About to be 17-3
I know it's easy to pick on the defense but they have been put into some awful spots so far. We keep giving UNI a very short field.

Defense does its job and holds, forces a punt and gets the offense good field position and Sparks throws another pick. Sigh
Sparks picked again. He just has really poor play recognition. It’s gotten worse with playing time so that’s really concerning.
UNI gives it right back.
