Winning sets a tone for the season. Check out U of E and their loss to Depauw. The fans and Colt Ryan are not happy at all.

Use this game to get the fans excited and get a feel for some live action outside of practice. Stay healthy and have fun. Its time to boot the chicks out of the BIRD's nest in the Sycamore Tree and see if they can fly. Upper classmen you've got your wings. It's time for you to soar.
 
I'll be there as well. Here are my wishes, in some sort of order of importance:
1. No injuries.
2. A strong win. More specifically, not a loss--while a win doesn't do much to change our stature/landscape, a loss could damage the psyche of our relatively young team.
3. A good sense of cohesiveness amongst our players.
4. An effort from ISU that is worthy of additional fringe support (i.e. effort that puts more butts in the seats)
5. Fluidity of the offense.
6. Strong TEAM defense.
7. A new definition, or at least the beginnings of the new definition for "Sycamore Basketball".

I am so ready for Sycamore Basketball!!! Time to crank up some '25 or 6 to 4' from Chicago, although the version from our basketball band may be better than the original!!
 
Should we make much of the starting lineup for tonight's game. I like seeing Kuong in there. He seems to be a player fans consistently underrate.

Tonight's exhibition isn't showing up on the Sycamore Vision website. I'm hoping that they will be showing it like last year. Anyone from the athletics department know for sure?

I thought they did this too...kind of like a here's what you get if you sign up for the season type preview game.
 
I am getting ready to leave to head to Hulman Center to root on the Sycamores. When I get back, I will provide a short summary of the game and possibly some stats.

You'd think. Pretty disappointed myself, especially since they went from $69.95 to $84.95 this year. If there is a home game, it should be on Sycamore Vision, exhibition or not, especially with a lighter home schedule this year. Guess I'll be off doing housework.
