I have ESPN+, so that will be enough punishment for me. $29 to watch 3 games online is a little excessive. Outside of last season we tend to always struggle in these tournaments. I don't know anything about any of these teams to make accurate picks. At this point if we win 1 game in The Bahamas I will be happy.
 
This is honestly a game we should win, but I have no confidence that we will. With the way we are playing, I don't think we have anyone that can stop their big guy Hughes inside. He reminds me a lot of Teague for Ball St. There is too much talent on this team to have efforts like we did yesterday. Seemed like nobody really wanted to play.

I looked at the Duquesne website, they're 3-0 with solid wins so far this season, picked 8th in the preseason A-10 polls, they're tall and experienced, much like Ball State, so I don't see us wining this game.
 
Have we ever had an alum, other than Duane Klueh, coach the Sycamores?

I don’t think as fans this is what we should wish for. If, and when the job becomes available, we should have a nationwide search for the best candidate. I’m gonna look at this season as 0-1 and hope the best is yet to come.
 
Wish I could say I think we have a chance, but I think we're going to get the snot beat out of us. I posted in one of the prediction threads but they have the old Akron coach Dambrot and he took a lot of his players with him to the Duq. Little known fact, but before he took the Akron job, he coached LeBron in HS at SVSM. Akron screwed the pooch by not making the program improvements he wanted.

We can stay in it and win depending on how our guards play. We're going to need to trade 3s for 2s. They aren't a good shooting team but they can score inside and from the line. They're also +4 on rebounding against opponents this year.

There has been a long standing rumor that Clink already has his man picked and he's been working under an old friend of his to get collegiate experience. Problem is that guy has become a very hot name in head coaching openings and I keep seeing him listed on everyone's wish list.

Sycamores Open Junkanoo Jam Against Duquesne Thursday Night

Indiana State Basketball continues its 125th season on Thursday, November 21 as they begin play in the 2019 Junkanoo Jam on the island of Bimini in the Bahamas against Duquesne with tip-off set for 6:30 p.m. (ET) from the Gateway Christian Academy Gym. The game will be televised live worldwide on FloHoops.com (on a pay-per-view basis). The game will also be broadcast on WIBQ 97.9 FM as well as streamed (audio) on GoSycamores.com.

You must've watched the Cards/ISU ESPN+ stream Sunday! With only 2,400 in attendance, the webcaster had to stretch the truth "just a tad" to inject a lil' excitement! It's what they get paid for...and you know how the media is today re: accuracy and facts.

Yeah, talk about needing a diaper change. That announcer was full of crap for sure. He's THE GREAT ONE of what? Being promoted into a job he NEVER earned his way into having???

Yep...not paying for the chance to sit at a computer and hope the feed works. I'm assuming the radio stream will be available?
 
It's about eight hours until tip-off and I have to wonder...

Will we play better today than we did vs Ball State?
Will we play better defense?
Will we shoot a better fg%
Will we shoot a better ft%
Will Tre Williams not get called for traveling 3 or more times?
Will D-Wash get the start for the second game in a row?
Is this the game that Cooper starts to knock down threes, with authority?
Can Agbo please be the beast in the paint like we thought he was gonna be?
Will we have more than one player score in double-digits?
Will we be the team with the most fans in attendance at this tourney?
Will we win this game?
Will we win two games in this tourney?
Will we sweep this tourney!?!?!?
Will we (sigh) get swept?
Since paradise is spelled with an "s", why do people spell Terredise like this, "Terredice"?
