more than likely it won't be on ESPN3 as there is a home football game Saturday, so all the video equipment will be at the football stadium, 2 days isn't enough time to get it from the basketball arena out to the football field and all set up correctly for the football game.

That surprises me that they move the equipment from one venue to the next.

I assumed (and probably wrongly) each venue had it's own set up.

There is too much $ in equipment to allow that to happen. And I doubt that many if any exhibition game are telecast. If our home games are going to be totally student presentations they may need all of the actual air time and practice they can get.

But Duke's exhibition game was on ESPN. Why not ours? This doesn't make sense to me. Pfff....East cost bias.
 
Exhibition Contest Thursday Night Named "Jim Shaw Classic"

Indiana State University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, with the blessings of Sycamore Basketball head coach Greg Lansing and Fighting Engineers head coach Rusty Loyd, announced this afternoon (Nov. 1) that Thursday night's exhibition contest between the two schools will be known as the Jim Shaw Classic.

Indiana State Basketball begins the season with an exhibition contest on Thursday, November 3 at 7 p.m. (ET) against Rose-Hulman inside Hulman Center. The Sycamores reached the semifinals of Arch Madness for the fourth time in the last six years at the end of last year while RHIT finished 17-11 and reached the HCAC Tournament Final. For the Sycamores, junior Brenton Scott returns his 14.6 ppg average while the Fightin' Engineers return Charlie Aimone (8.8 ppg), Luke Callahan (6.9 ppg) and Stephen Schueth (6.0 ppg).

Okay, sunshine. Clearly you can't take a joke. I wasn't claiming anything other than an attempt at a joke. If you really want to go to the mat about this...ACC NETWORK EXTRA IS AN ESPN AFFILIATE. It's called ACC ESPN Network Extra for a reason. I can watch every Duke exhibition game on ESPN in some form or fashion. So, I'm right. You're wrong. Nanny, nanny.

Predictions for tonight? What say you?

I'll go 72-54, Sycamores victory. Rose Hulman will hang for a while in the first half, even taking the lead briefly about 10 minutes in, everyone will go crazy and question how we could let a team like Rose Hulman hang around, and then we blow their doors off in the second half.

You're right...I need to take change my avatar. Royals are no longer World Series' champions. Congrats to the Cubs - no hard feelings or "pissy" because of that. I am pissed that my cable went out last night and I missed 90% of the game, though.

ESPN Classic will like re-air last night's game in the next 2-3 weeks.

have to believe the entire series will be on DVD on the Southside this afternoon...

crazy the cubs won

I guess the Ariz Cardinals will win the Super Bowl...

the Toronto Maple Leafs will win the Stanley Cup...

and Northwestern will not win BUT make the NCAA Men's Tournament this season
