Seems like college bball creeps up on me quickly every year, but i'm not going to complain about it...might be the fact that i'm busy with coaching football.

Very excited to see what Clemons and MVS (depending on how much PT he gets on Saturday) can do, I'm expecting them to step in and be contributors right out the gate. If Brown has improved as much as people have been saying we will be in a for another good year. Scott is a gamer and i've said it from day 1, he just has that instinct to make plays when they need to be made. We really need K. Smith to have a good year and for a big man to emerge as a presence inside if we want to make significant noise in conference and post-season play. Anything Burnett gives us i'm taking it as a bonus because I have absolutely no idea what to expect from the young man this season...but judging by coaches comments it's seems like he will be out there quite a bit.

Isn't MVS going to be one of our leaders and best players this year? Why would he not get a lot of playing time?

I'm just referring to playing time on Satuday. He has been nursing an ankle injury the past couple of weeks so i'm just assuming he will be limited in what he does.

Sounds like KS1 and Page may not play. KS with a thumb injury and Page with a concussion.

Too bad, these are the games I like to watch specifically to see young guys like Page play. Hopefully both of them (and MVS) make full recoveries and are good to go next Friday.
