Nunez and Pugh named MVFC Players of the Week

Freshman kicker Jerry Nunez and junior wide receiver/return specialist Bob Pugh have been named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Special Teams player and Newcomer of the week, the Valley announced Sunday.

Congratulations to BOTH, and not to take away from their POW Awards....were there really any other players in the league that were worthy of these awards this week?

I even said during the game the PUGH was a GEM of a recruit for SANDERS.

So much for whoever said this week or last, that Sanford wasn't much of a recruiter for talent.

there were only 4 teams in action. MSU got rolled by K-State and WIU beat Northern IL. we dont normally get 2 awards in a week
