Yeah, I had to rewrite my darned story....lol....

The game got over around 11:45 p.m. and my dropdead deadline was midnight....I had to go and rewrite the first five paragraphs of my story....got it in around 12:02 a.m. monday....and then send an updated version for my paper's website....lol.....

I fell asleep shortly after the game started.............the late Sunday game is always a problem for me no matter who is playing. But I woke up with approx. 4 minutes to go in the game and got to see the stupidity of Belichek and the heroics of the Colts and then couldn't get back to sleep for about an hour.

A Super Finish!

I'm still in shock! I went to bed when there was like 4 minutes to go and Peyton just threw his second pick. Then I get online this morning and go to ESPN and about fell out of my chair! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!

I'm guilty of going to sleep also. After Peyton threw his second INT the game SHOULD have been over. Its always nice beating the Patriots though.

after all the comeback wins that the colts have had over the recent years....

when you you guys ever learn....lol.....

tampa bay comeback -- 21 points in the last four minutes of the game to tie it

new england comeback in the afc title game -- down 21-3 at the half and won 38-34....

last night -- down 24-7 and 31-14

the houston game last year -- big rally to win

st. louis game at the rca dome a few years ago -- down 17-3 at the half

minnesota last year

When I was a boy.... ahah I turned a Colts game off vs. the Tampa Bay Bucs, I was to young to have a cell phone thus I couldn't be alerted to what as about to happen and my dad wanted to me to sleep the rest of the night so he didn't wake me, but I hear I missed one hell of a football game that night!

Ever since that night, I don't think I could ever turn off or give up on the Colts. However I will say that I had tuned out last nights game, sure it was still on and I was watching off and on. As things started to unfold I yelled out to my roommate, "are you watching this"? You could tell something extraordinary was about to unfold!

It was as good as it get's, these teams bring out the best and worst in each other every time. If the Colts loose that game we are all telling a different story today. But that's not the case with 14 seconds left the Colts were able to bring out the worst in the Pats. I must say I felt like we had won the Super Bowl. lol

Reggie Wayne had 2 of the sickest catches you will EVER see last night...

watched the entire thing and glad to see that Belicheck made the most idiotic coaching decision that I have ever seen! The Colts lost virtually every aspect of that game, but found a way to win and that is what good teams do!

That we won with help from a highly questionable Belicheat call just makes it all the sweeter.

It's called SCOREBOARD....lol.....

to heck with the game stats.....the only stat that really counts is the final score....there...that is my proverb for the day....lol.......

by the way...i got back to my house around 2 a.m. today...and am working here at the colts complex on about 4 hours of sleep.....

SO maybe Belichek will hire Charlie Weis ... minds that think alike!

I was at the game and the sickest part of the game was when Peyton threw his second INT . We stood up and wanted to beat traffic so by the time we got into the car to leave and found the game on the radio was just in time to get ILL and find out we had left one of the best finishes of all time. Lesson learned here is if the colts are getting beat by 50 with 1 minute to go never leave a game early.
