This whole situation is messed up. Boda, how did you find the letter? Did they say something on the news or something?
 
Fascinating reading...not all untrue...so sad that he figured he needed to kill people to make a point...
 
IF it's true he only killed himself and a couple others in the office building, that in itself is a miracle!

He's a coward; even more tragic that he took others with himself.

If this man hated the US gov't SO much, why didn't he just move to another country? That is what baffles me so much. Obviously just dillusional, I guess.

Because the U.S. is still one of the best/The Best nation WRT taxes and business climate; whether you start your own business or work for another...

As to Personal Freedoms...Can't think of a better one

I completely agree 4Q, but did you read his letter? I don't think he shared yours and my feelings about this great country.

Yes, I read the letter (The Smoking Gun site); obviously a twisted, mentally-sick person. It was 6 pages of rambling, mis-spelled, rants and ventings

I'm not a tax expert but I've never felt like the IRS, Congress or other body writes a tax law just to spite ME.

Do we have problems in this country? Sure -- I know of a handful of countries that don't (though I'd consider Monaco and San Marino to be city-states, not nations...)

Sadly, there are many, many wing-nuts in this country; this one just proved (sadly) again that if a person is determined to bring harm to others, there are many things that can me used as a weapon.
