So I am sitting here and thinking about the way we were suppose to finsh 7th this year and it makes me wonder who at this point would be in post season awards is the season ended to day . I think the obvious would be JO as first team all conference . I think Manny arop should be a top contender for newcomer of the year and Lansing should be the leading candidate Coach of the year . Other thoughts?

Fact of the matter is, the season doesn't end today!

Look, Lansing said it on JMV on Monday - you could still lose out, the Valley is that tough - college hoops is that tough! If the Sycamores were to play .500 ball from here out they won't get much in the way of post season.

Odum has played himself into a position for first or second team at worst.

Arop has played himself into a position for Newcommer and possibly second teamer.

Lansing likely not the leading candidate for coach of the year just yet - Sycamores run the table and he locks it up!

Long, long way to go - need to have a big Februrary before I give a thought to post season awards. If they handed out post season awards in a "what if" scenerio in January then they wouldn't be called post season awards and they'd be voted on like every other bull shit award in this league and the Sycamores would get little respect or consideration...

The highs and lows on this board are unreal ! Thanks to SSM for trying to keep our feet on the ground---
and still not under it.
