Montana State squeaked by Drake last week. I think you guys are much better than Montana State. I hope you send the country a statement about how good our conference is this year. That way we can get more teams into the playoffs.

Wow, better than Montana State? I hope you're right. It'll be a good test. We have to win that game, though, if we have any hope of making the playoffs.

Can the MVFC get 5 teams in?? Probably not, but maybe would deserve to depending on how the season plays out. This is a little bit of a dangerous game for the Sycamores, but with Bell having a somewhat pedestrian game yesterday, I'm sure he'll be looking for a big game in front of what should be a good crowd this week. Good start for the MVFC with a couple of exceptions--too bad we didn't take advantage of the opportunities we had against IU. The Penguins look great, as do Illinois State and NDSU. It'll be interesting to see what happens with UNI and Iowa this week.
 
Multiple bids for the MVFC seems reasonable this year. It would certainly make a statement if 5 Valley teams could make the tournament. Thanks and good luck at Albany.
 
Drake has a very good QB and receivers, so the ISU secondary will be tested this game, should be a good one, think both teams will score a lot of points, we just need to score more!

Amen on the scoring more. A lot of pressure on the QB would help the secondary. Go Trees.

All due respect to Drake, but we are home and we are the better team. We'd better pound them into submission. Our guys need to keep playing with the fire they've shown through the first two games.
 
don't take them lightly. Montana state had trouble with them. I expect that you guys will roll.
 
NDSU beat at BCS team. YSU beat a BCS team. Illinois State beat a MAC team. UNI is very good and you almost beat a B1G team. And you guys almost beat a B1G team. I can see a possible 5 in the playoffs.

Possible, yes. Probable, I doubt it. Saturday will be a tough must win game for the Trees.
