Anyone know how practices are going? Last year we got lots of updates about the Eitels, Odum, etc.; but I haven't heard much about Kitchell this year. Anyone know how he's progressing in practice and whether he's going to be pushing for major minutes a la Odum next year?

I'm also curious as to the team atmosphere as we've gone through the season.

Given some of the things we've seen posted here from time to time, I wonder whether Kitchell will transfer, or if it's been overplayed.

Kitchell has picked-up about 10# via the weightroom. Appreciates this r-shirt yr to make the transition to the increased speed of the game and the bulk & muscle needed inside. He's working extra hard to be ready for next yr AT ISU.
(He's been known, on his own, to hit the weightroom an extra 1 or 2 times per day.) He's working on improving quickness and foot speed also.

Thanks OngHop - I think that this will be a good thing in the long run for him. If you look at the way it worked out for Odum this season, even if he doesn't transition as smooth as Odum has - the extra time still should be of great benefit to him.

He's going to provide some nice size inside for the Sycamores - between him, RJ, Gant next year and Smith in 2 years - WOW! This is going to be a very interesting team.

That is very encouraging. We need talent inside to get to the next level in the MVC and he certainly can bring that to this team.

Thanks Ong! That's exactly what I was hoping to hear.
