This is probably the most significant Ball State game that we've played in years (possibly ever?) when it comes to in-state recruiting.
We usually recruit from the same pool of players when it comes to Indiana kids. Even though we're trying to tier up in recruiting, you rarely get the matchup that is timed right -- both teams with winning records playing in the big environment in front of a lot of people. The fact Purdue is also playing means they will likely have a lot of potentials in the building as well, so if we come out and play our style and do what we've done to everyone else, it could legitimately open up some HM type talent in the 2025 class.
