Senior Robby Ort tied the game in the bottom of the ninth inning with a two-run home run to left field, but Evansville's Andy Lasher answered with a three-run shot of his own in the top of the 13th inning, sending the Purple Aces to a 6-4 victory in the opening game of the Missouri Valley Conference series on Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium.
