Baltimore fans have been trying to buy up as many available tickets to Saturday night's Colts-Ravens AFC divisional playoff game as possible.

While most observers don't believe that the rush to buy tickets by purple-clad Ravens faithful will be as successful as it was for Tennessee Titans fans for an AFC divisional playoff game, they will be noisy once they enter Lucas Oil Stadium.

Purchasing tickets, though, is one thing. Finding a place to stay in downtown Indianapolis this weekend is something else.

It seems as if many of the city's major hotels have already been booked by those people participating and attending JAMFest Super Nationals, a youth cheerleading competition, at the Indiana Convention Center.

JAMFest began Thursday and concludes late Saturday afternoon.

TJames - please focus on the football game Saturday, that might be asking a little much for you to cover JAMFest and the Colts... lol That was about as clean as I could make that post.

Hey sycamore.....

you should have seen it back when the annual NFL Scouting Combine was held at the RCA Dome.....part of the activity was in the dome...and part was in the Indiana Convention Center...and every year....right on time...they would schedule a youth cheerleading competition during the combine....lol....

so you would have these college players....and their agents...and nfl head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts, player personnel people...and national professional football media...and locals like me....all crowding into the hallways.....trying to walk...with all of these cheerleaders and their parents and their families and their coaches...it was wild!!!!....lol.....

you would have teenage girls and their mothers...swooning over these college players....trying to get autographs.....get their pictures taken with them....we all figured that some day..either one of the older cheerleaders...or their mothers.....would turn up and try to say that their new baby belonged to one of the college players...or nfl people.....

we all joked that having all those cheerleaders there....and some of the mothers looked pretty good too...lol.....it was like one of the nfl scouting combine tests....the morals test.....lol......try to see how many of the players could pass the test...lol....

it got downright blatant sometimes....they had to call security guards to keep some of the cheerleaders and their mothers away from the college players....it's much better now though that the combine is held at Lucas Oil Stadium.....only the nfl people, the college players, scouts, agents and the media are allowed in......not to say that some of the cheerleaders and their mothers haven't tried to get in....lol....
