Did a little digging…his dad was an assistant at Lincoln Memorial (before JS) and was D2 National Champ in 2015, so I’m sure there is a connection there. His aunt also played basketball at Indiana State.
Tate Darner's is Linc Darner, correct? Sign him. Son and Grandson of coaches... He's KNOWS how to play the game! His cousin (Sean McDermott) was pretty legit as well.
Right. The Darners from Anderson (Highland, I believe). Interesting that there is the 3-way connection there.
Yes, Anderson Highland but I believe Linc and all siblings were born in Ohio. The father, Alan moved the family to Indiana specifically to coach HS basketball in INDIANA. I'd venture any connection between HCJS and Linc Darner isn't the LM connection but that both were longtime SUCCESSFUL div III MBB coaches.
