Retired Indiana State professor to receive honors from international bandmasters orga

Jim Slutz, emeritus professor of music, will be inducted in the hall of fame of the international bandmasters fraternity Phi Beta Mu. He will be just one of nine people to receive the honor in the organization's 75-year history.

Being a music major, I can assure you that this is a great honor from a great organization. I've spoken to Professor Slutz only a few times, but you only have to know him for a short time to understand how fantastic he is as both a person and educator, not to mention musician.
