The Odum Level
A lot of people were really on Sanford last year, but it's clear by how quickly things have turned around that he knows what he's doing and is the solid coach many of us expected him to be. Haven't seen many posts from his naysayers this year.

Also noticed people talking about the talent of our receivers. Don't think that's an accident. This offense we're running now relies more on the passing game, it's why we can recruit better receivers and they're more consistent because they're involved and not being thrown to just two or three times a game like they were in Miles' conservative ground game offense. It's also why we're getting to see Perish at his best. He finally has some protection, guys to throw to and a chance to throw the ball.

We still need more talent and depth on offense to avoid stalling out as we have the last two games, but the defense is already back to top form, which is equally encouraging.

Just wanted to recognize Sanford and the coaching staff because they received a lot of criticism last year (much of it I found unfair given what he was left with) and the turnaround has been awesome to watch.

there were a lot of blinders on last year

No devisiveness in the locker room, another year experience for both the young coaches and the Freshmen who played last year, a spring/summer and second year in Coach Sanford's system, and no significant injuries. Pretty simple equation for the difference between last year and this year.

My thoughts exactly. Great post!

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Sampson Levingston can do in the next few years. He has made quite a few big plays for us this year. We also have Gary Owens another year! I am not the biggest college football fan but you better believe I have been following this year like crazy. What a turnaround
