Just noticed that in the Tribstar story and on the depth chart. That seems odd, really odd. Isn't he playing through an injury and yet he's punting?

Cool. I can't think of many teams with a starting linebacker who doubles as a punter.
Nope -- not in the last 25-35 years!
the ol' Packer OT Jerry Kramer used to place kick for them in the 1960s!
One of the MVFC teams has a kickoff/punt returner that played DE. Definitely as odd as that was I'd say.
If my kicking game was hurting that bad...I would have everybody get the ball and kick it....and the farthest is my punter LOL...It's been done before we just don't hear about it alot...I just hope he does a good job...in the paper coach miles said that our kicking game was very suspect...

My sources say a walk on punter will be at practice on Monday. Regardless if they can kick and give our defense good field position, then let the$ punt.

This concerns me, it can put a lot of pressure on your defense when you get a 10 yard punt or worse get one blocked. Let's hope we will not need to punt.
