Saturday - ISU v. SIU (Game #2 of 3)

Just tuned in...ISU up 5-0 in the 2nd, as the Trees are taking advantage of shoddy SIU "D" (4 errors) to torque up their game. Ort just corked a double off the wall (49th ribby of yr) to put ISU up 6-0. Rob is swinging the stick w/ power & consistency lately - a necessity if ISU plans on post-season MVC/NCAA success.

ISU's P (Manea) a lil' shaky in the 2nd. Hope Lucas "grooves him" like he did on Friday w/ a less than stellar Bacas.

UE up 1-0 over the Bears in Springfield (4th inning). Can the Aces give their Hwy 41 neighbor a lil' help?

Evansville has defeated MSU 3-1 at Springfield, MO. Should ISU hold on to win, they will be in sole possession of first place for the first time this season by a half game. ISU faces MSU in a three-game series beginning Thursday at Terre Haute.
