Supposed to be around 60 degrees. Xavier is only about an hours drive for me. Might have to throw on some ISU blue and make my way south to Cincinnati for the afternoon.
Nice to see Mike pick up some hits.
Sycamores explode for 8 runs in the 5th, lead 10-2 now heading to the bottom
Sycamores make five errors (though one should not be an error) and give Xavier four outs in several innings but hang on to win 10-7.

If we can’t cut down on the simple errors we are going to lose a few games we shouldn’t.

It is getting concerning. I chalked up the errors early on as just early-season rust, but now the defensive miscues are still there. We went from being one of the best defensive teams in the country last year to our defense being a liability.
Glad to see the bats still alive, but we have to clean up the fielding.
