My take on this saturday....This is the most important game in ISU FB history...if they win it will just seal the turnaround and other things....As far as the bison fans go...I personally don't mind them....I think they know who they are and they are freakin good...The Bison are monsters year in and year out and I love having the dakotas in the mvfc...mvfc is the toughest conference in fcs...This is an uphill battle...we have great players but we are a little undermanned against the Bison...However, I think a great performance from us can beat them but we are coming off of a bye week so we will see how that affects us...The most important players is our o-line and d-line...this is a very physical team and we can talk stats and RB's and WR's all day...this game will be won in the trenches....Both teams have skill players to get it done...hopefully geffert, patrick are back....

I an effort to make your day a little brighter, BigBlue, a tweet last night from Rick Semmler said he'd talked to Coach Miles, and Coach expects everyone to be totally healthy on Saturday! First time in weeks!!!

I don't know if it's the biggest game in ISU history, but it certainly is the biggest in recent memory. Sure wish we were coming off a win at Illinois State, but it just makes this game all the more important. We lose Saturday and our playoff hopes are very, very slim.

Not really lost if we don't win this game. They strongly consider the GPI in determining the at large spots, and we are currently sitting at 11. Most of what I've seen or read still have us in at 7-4. WKU's winning streak has helped, as has Penn State's ranking. We win out though, and all questions are removed.

But do four Valley schools make it in? Right now we're fourth and have lost to two of the teams ahead of us. We lose this weekend and it will be to all three teams ahead of us. This is why the Illinois State loss could really haunt us. And I'm not sure winning out will automatically get us in either. I think it's still possible for all three of those schools to finish with the same record or better.
