If we drop the UIndy game, we'd be at 25 games for the season...the maximum number of games allowed this year is 27. So, theoretically, we could add another MTE where we only play 2 games.

But I would think that with as difficult as scheduling is...especially this year...we'll stick with the current schedule.

I would find that hard to believe due to the travel costs and logistics associated with another MTE, but I suppose we would have the time within the schedule if we found another MTE for the following week. There's over a 2-week gap between when the Gulf Coast Showcase ends and the Purdue game.

Agreed. Only way I think it works is if it is a 4 teamer and then you need to do something local/regional.

I'd be down with us, IUPUI, Fort Wayne and then whatever fourth from Indiana needs a game. You could even probably play it in the old IUPUI Jungle arena since it would likely be without fans, would have minimal exposure risk, accommodations would be cheap, etc.

The Jungle... definitely not the best of venues but all that's necessary with COVID-scheduling.

I do like the Jags' new digs, just glad Hulman is walking distance for current students

Looks like Loyola and Cincinnati are setting up an MTE in Indianapolis with the two other teams still TBD. I doubt Loyola would want another MVC team in the tournament, but these smaller tournaments are starting to pop-up quite a bit now.
