Saw the girls were at Loyola and went over to see the games. Unfortunately, I think I brought them bad luck. When I got there they were up by 3 runs and, an eternity later, they lost due to a walk off walk.
Beautiful day. Coach seemed good. Girls hustled perpetually. I really like that (that's probably why I thought the coach was good). Team and staff seemed friendly. Not many fans, but that is to be expected. Not too outgoing, but that too is to be expected. I was a college softball dad. My daughter pitched and played shortstop so I know how that can be. Had to get to the Bulls game so didn't see the end of the 2nd game. Knew they would win the 2nd, however, after the 1st game's tough loss. You could tell they were ready. Go Sycamores!
