Just saying... it's pretty cool that ISU, UND, IU, and PU are the highest ranking business schools in Indiana! Yes ISU is ranked higher than BSU, Valpo, all the other Indiana privates, all the IU somethings (iue, iuse, etc). That's according to the respectable Financial Engineer.

Where did you find this list/info? I would like to take a look at the rankings.

Wasn't trying to catch anything or keep you straight. I had no idea what you were talking about. Still a bit shaky. Is Financial Engineer something I can find on line? My daughter is thinking of seeking a major in the Scott Business College. I would like to show her the article.

Thanks for the help.

Here, I'll help you out. First is the press release from ISU and the second is what I believe he is talking about.

This is the first year for this ranking and they have Indiana State's MBA program at 180th.

I'm not an expert.... but I have a few kids so research of colleges has become a fact of life for me. Indiana has almost 180 colleges/community colleges etc. About 130 or so offer a business degree of some sort. Of all the business degrees offered only 14 of those colleges are AACSB accredited. That is the highest accreditation available. So think of all the publics and privates in Indiana (that's a lot) and only 14 have shown the gusto to reach the top accreditation. ISU is AACSB.

part of is WHAT type of business kids want to study...

marketing vs production ops vs MIS vs... etc, etc, etc

AND where do kids want to work AFTER they get that degree.

The other critical part of the Financial Engineer ranks... we're 15 spots AHEAD (naturally) of ISU_Muncee

You know... ISU ranks well with average starting salary and job placement. National ranked programs in Business, Biology, Education (a long time national leader), Psychology, Music/Arts, Nursing, Criminology, Speech Pathology, Athletic Training (which is more of a medical science PA type Degree fyi). The new DPT program ( Doctor of Physical Therapy) that is coming up is a good decision with a good niche. There are 3 colleges in Indiana with accredited PT programs.... IU, UE, & UIndy... one public and two privates... soon to be two publics.
