Just what the doc ordered for MSG & the NIT...a 30+ pt semi-sleeper. So much for seeding...mid-maj's are making their move this year.

Anyone else worried that the success Creighton and WSU are having will end up overshadowing our success this year going into next season? Not that it matters much, but I think we can kiss a bunch of the pre-season honors goodbye, not that CU and WSU weren't likely to get them all anyway. It might also give them more confidence going into next season, but I'd hope our confidence will be pretty high as well.
 
The expanded NCAA format has no doubt continued to impact the QUALITY of the NIT...it's not what it used to be "back in the dayz"...

As far as MVC pre-season honors, who cares, as long as the Sycamores get the job done AGAIN. Personally, I'd rather have that fat monkey on someone else's back!
 
This Wichita run just validates what a good team we beat on our way to The Dance. MO State looked pretty good too until they went on the road in the N.I.T. Creighton has bought their way in the post-season to this point just like Mo State did last year. They haven't left home yet...........now at the end they get to go to Oregon........we'll see how that plays out?
