Snow shoveling…

I’d only work at night so my neighbors don’t see me using a 6 inch electric shovel .

It's actually a 12" wide shovel, but with 14" of snow on the driveway, I had to leave half of it empty so it had somewhere to blow the snow...

For the life of me I can’t understand why people in perfectly good health do not shovel their driveway. These people just driving in and out of nearly a foot of not shoveled snow is insane to me - I also don’t understand people who just maybe shovel a small path.

It’s all our nothing - you can’t be that lazy.

Mine is pretty big for a neighborhood. This would be a fun game to play if I still had my John Deere tractor from when I lived in the country. But not now - no deal

Tough... Needed a bigger house as we started to have kids, keeping up with property takes a lot of time/effort which can take away from being a parent, liked the idea of our kids growing up with neighboring kids to play with etc.

I have plenty of access to hunting land to scratch that itch when the time comes. I hope to move back to the country maybe one day - we will see where life takes me.

I started my life as a farm boy then moved to town. Between Bloomington and terre haute I spent 21 years in town or edge of. Spent the last 27 years in the country. Both town and country have their benefits as kids and adults. You are right about the time required to keep a place up.
