Softball clinches 1st postseason bid since 2009

congrats to the oft forgotten ISU softball team!, who today, by beating Loyola, clinched their first MVC post season bid since 2009! They won 7-6 in 10 innings.

This ensures they finish no worse than 6th.

ISU Softball Wins In Walk-Off Fashion To Qualify For MVC Tournament For First Time Si

Senior Yvette Alvarez hit a walk-off ground ball to score senior Megan Stone and give the Sycamores a 7-6 victory in 10 innings over Loyola to clinch a berth in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament for the first time since 2009.
