Sophomore Taylor Lockwood pitched a complete game, two-hit, shutout and Megan Stone and Erika Crissman each hit home runs as the Indiana State softball team (27-26, 9-17 MVC) ended their 2014 season with a 3-0 series win over Southern Illinois (28-23, 15-11 MVC) for its first winning season since the 1992 season.

congrats to the girls on a winning season! disappointed they played poorly in MVC play and didn't make the MVC post season tourney, I think only 8 teams make the MVC tournament. First time in MVC history a team ends the season with an overall winning record and does not make the MVC tourney. Gotta work on changing that in 2015!
 
Seems like we ended the season on a high note with a win and a winning season. This should provide momentum going into next year. Congratulations ladies!
