Ladies dropped a pair Thursday and are marred in a 4-game skid early in the season. Next game is today vs DePaul

I don’t know much about softball but Terre Haute North is 30-1 and going to the 4A state championship game. Does anyone know if ISU is recruiting any of their players? They have 2 juniors, one a SS and one a 3B that to me seem like D1 players. Both are baiting in the mid .500’s with double digit home runs. The 3B hit 2 homers in the semi state yesterday. Their pitcher is 19-0 with a 1 ERA and is also batting in the .500’s with around 10 homers but is going to Akron.

Just seems like at least those 2 could help the Sycamores.

I know a lot about softball and I have seen lots of the best HS players and ASA players. I have coached players that went to Miami O, Dayton, IU, U of Illinois, Ball State, IUPUI, Butler, and Western Michigan. I have not seen THN play but I can say that stats like that sound like D1. Of course there are other factors like arm strength and speed. The way they handled CG is impressive and shows that they can get it done against quality opponents. I would think the pitcher needs to approach a speed of 60 or more for ISU to be interested. I coached a pitcher that had 18 shutouts and a .05 ERA in one year at a large HS, but she could not make it in the MAC.
I'm rooting for them to win state.
