I was driving yesterday afternoon about 4:45 and, as I usually do between 3 and 7 in the car, listening to The Ride with JMV on 107.5 here in Indy. JMV was chastising a guy on twitter who accused JMV of having a "secret IU agenda."
JMV was going through all the Purdue and Butler and other folks he has on his show and was calling the twitter comment ridiculous, when he kind of got really serious. He said, "Let me tell you people something. You know what I LOVE? I love Indiana State. I respect all the other programs in Indiana, but I LOVE Indiana State." I got goosebumps just listening to it. And this wasn't after a big win, or some sort of award or recognition of a team. This was an alum showing his true colors.
The most listened to local talk radio show in Indy, and he's pimping the Sycamores! Someone from ISU needs to go to the bookstore, get one of everything in the spirit wear section, and send it to JMV. And give him complimentary tickets to all our sporting events. Just so long as he doesn't have any of our coaches or players on his show during the season, especially after a big win...:razz:
