Sycamore Baseball Faces Minnesota Inside The Metrodome This Weekend

The Indiana State baseball team plays their final nonconference weekend series before the start of Missouri Valley Conference play as the Sycamore travel to Minneapolis, Minn., for a three-game set with the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Indiana State has only faced Minnesota once...and that was in 1985, when ISU went 2-2 in the Metrodome in a mini-tourney

ISU was scheduled to visit the Metrodome for a weekend series against Minnesota in 2010, but that series was cancelled due to scheduling problems.

The last play of the game was crazy. Manaea threw a wild pitch, the ISU catcher retrieved the ball, tossed it to Manaea and he tagged out the runner trying to score from 3rd for the last out.
