Sycamore Baseball Season Ends In The MVC Tournament Semifinals On Friday

The 2013 Indiana State baseball season came to an end on Friday, as the Sycamores were eliminated from the 2013 Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Tournament in Normal, Ill., following a 5-4 loss to the Wichita State Shockers.

I know the season didn't end the way the players (and fans) would have liked, but still a congratulations on a winning season! The team went through a lot of diversity and there were absolutely highlights throughout.

Three to speak of:

Manaea being targeted by scouts all season and bringing national attention to himself and to the program.
Going 4-0 against Creighton, when was the last time that happened?
Robby Ort becoming the all time RBI leader in State history....that's pretty huge.

In 2010, we were 4-1 against Creighton...losing that one game 7-6. Two of the wins were at the Valley tournament.
