Sycamore Golf Continues Fall Campaign At Toledo Rocket Classic

The Indiana State women's golf team will participate in their third tournament of the fall season when they travel to the Toledo Rocket Classic on Monday and Tuesday, October 5-6 at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio. Catawba Island is a par-72, 7,225-yard layout and the tournament will be a 54 hole format with 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.

What a sorry program. Not at all competitive & get to travel and stay at really nice places and waste athletic department funds. What is the cost per player to support this sport? Maybe they can dump it when swimming gets going?

I don't think I'd go quite that far. Seems to me that they have been competitive in most of their matches over the past several years. Also, a very young program.

If you don't like it, talk to your congressman about Title IX. That's the only reason we have half the sports we do...
