the men went 2-3-4-5-11-12 (I think those placings are right) to WIN the MVC meet in Wichita today, the women (picked 6th) were 4th! a GREAT day in Wichita for ISU cross country.

the men's score may be one of the all time lowest scores to ever win an MVC meet folks!

More to follow!

they totally dominated this year! Unreal! It was the 2nd lowest point total for a winning team in MVC history, only Evansville has won with a lower point total (according to Morgan, who is at the meet)

From the MVC Site:

Drake won the 1947 title 15-45; in more 'modern times,' Drake (1968) and Wichita State (1974) both won with 23 points; since State has been an MVC member (1976) SoIll's 24 in 1982.

BTW: This is our 7th MVC Men's CC Title

Illinois State..................................................9

SIU and ILS dominated in the 80s when I ran, it's great to see ISU getting close to them.
