Sitting here watching Championship Week games and reflecting on the Sycamores basketball season. The program is at a crossroads and needs serious financial support. We've got the 2nd or 3rd lowest budget in the MVC, can't afford to bring opponents to Hulman Center and if alumni don't step up, athletics may be on the chopping block in the near future.

I'm challenging all of my fellow Indiana State students, alums and friends of the program to make a $20 (or more) donation on behalf of the program. The link is below and I've attached a photo of how to the form should look to get the money sent to the men's basketball program.

Once you've made your donation, please share or copy and past this post to your page so it can get in front of more eyeballs. It's easy to be negative in the wake of the season we just witnessed but let's turn that pride and passion into something positive, shall we?

Here is how the form should look:

As Eldridge Cleaver said,...."You either have to be part of the solution, or you're going to be part of the problem."

I'm not a rich man, but I can't find a reason not to give $20.

By the way Jason, start working on the next Men's Basketball crowd funding project. Dying to know what it will be this year!

So far 1 retweet and 2 likes on Twitter, 0 shares or likes on Facebook.

Fans? We don't have no stinkin' fans. Even if you can't afford to donate, you can take the 5 seconds to share or retweet so someone within your circle has the opportunity. Truly tragic but I will soldier on. I'm going to keep this going throughout March Madness I do believe.

A couple more retweets have trickled in. Maybe there is some hope out there.

Appreciate everyone getting involved. Can you make sure you share out my post on Facebook and retweet on Twitter? The only way we're going to get this "viral" is to get it in front of as many eyeballs as possible. There has to be more us out that care... there has to be. If not, let's try to make it so. Maybe all that one of your friends needs is a gentle shove.

I'm on a business trip until the end of the week, but I'll assuredly donate on Monday. Great idea, Jason.

Don't forget Twitter
I don't think he does the tweeter. Got a couple more share on the old Facebook but not many.

Keep sharing everyone. Share if you want the program to succeed. Share if you want the program to make changes. Share for whatever your reasoning may be. This is going to go all March. #marchsadness

Hey Coach, I know you can't afford or refuse to donate but how about a share on your Facebook account?

Is this for the Lansing buyout............count me in? You know my position on that subject......lol. I'll think about it. Maybe I can skip my haircut this week and donate that budget item?

Spoke with Jeremiah Turner today and he advised us to use the Sycamore Athletic Fund's donation page going forward. It is easier to fill out as it includes check boxes for the program you want to donate to. I've updated my first post to reflect that link and a screenshot of what that area of the form you'd need to select looks like.
