Sycamore Run In Valley Tournament Comes To End With 9-1 Loss To Bears

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State's participation in the 2014 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament came to an end Wednesday afternoon as the Missouri State Bears eliminated the Sycamores 9-1 on Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium. The Sycamores have now lost three straight for just the second time this season.

What are our odds to make the field as an at-large? Lost 3 in a row (again), finished 2nd in the MVC... NOT in the Top 25 (believe we were 27th in the last poll...)

there is no doubt that we will be in the field. we will probably be a 3 seed somewhere. had we won the conference and won a few games in the tourney we would have been a 2 seed.

The more pressing question is which team will show up at the Regionals? The one that will be two & out or the one that will appreciate the opportunity in spite of their recent lack of success and contend?
