Sycamore Softball Hosts Illinois State In 2015 Home Opener This Weekend

After playing their first 22 games on the road, the Indiana State softball team is set to open the home portion of their 2015 schedule when they host Illinois State in a three-game series at Price Field on Saturday and Sunday.

Senior Megan Stone tied the Indiana State career home run record as the Sycamores split a doubleheader 8-5 and 6-1 with Illinois State at Price Field in the home 2015 home opener.

Late Rally Falls Short In Series Finale Against Illinois State

Senior Megan Stone broke the Indiana State career RBI record and the Sycamores had the winning run at the plate in the bottom of the seventh inning but fell 10-9 in the series finale to the Redbirds of Illinois State in the home opening series.
