Ya, I recall last year when we played 'em here...reminded me of our HS JV squad. Ragmuffin-like team...thought that Bob Uecker was gonna step out of the dugout with his 60's Cards catching equipment on! Gotta start somewhere...I recall when I took my ISU "Coaching of Baseball" class under Jim Rendel when one of our February assignments was to write a report on ISU's "shared" field w/ TH Babe Ruth @ 8th Ave & Brown. I thought it was joke, but low & behold...that's where we played our games back in the "dayz." Area hasn't changed much...a few less wild cats running around since all the fields are now enclosed and no free-access kitty litter boxes!
