there are roughly 450 NBA players (give our take 10 at any given time)
there are currently 1,696 NFL players

There are 276 players in the Euroleague (2nd best league in the world)
there are 280 players in Spains top league
There are roughly 224 players in Turkeys top league (arguably the 3rd or 4th best league in the world)
There are roughly 300 players in the G-league

So if took the all the players from who many would consider the top 5 leagues in the world you would come to a total of 1,530 basketball players. Still 160 players short of the 1,696 currently in the NFL. This doesn't even include the 512 "practice squad" positions available in the NFL. Add those in and you are looking at 2,208 players affiliated with an NFL roster.

But yes it is always nice to see any Sycamore get the highest level in their craft in any sport. But please don't push a "football school" agenda because we have some NFL players.

Thanks for the update on Tonyan, but I don't believe Clyde Edwards-Halaire has any association or connections with ISU.
