In Illinois prep athlete David Timlin who had a verbal for Southern Illinois and backed out of it to be a Sycamore. Tony Jones (former Sycamore) is his high school coach and played a major role in helping us land this kid, as well as Coach Wayton.

Put this kid on paper with Mascari who is going to run 90 miles this next week. Him Al and a host of other role players and you have a team that might be capable of making XC Nats. The future is going to be very bright for the Sycamores with Mascari being a RS Frosh.

good news SSOM! He should really help this years' team! With Escalera, Betz, Selby (who ran 15:00 for 5k on the track this past spring), Taylor Head, Mascari, and all the others, hopefully we're looking at a 4th straight MVC championship this Fall at Illinois State. I was wondering how the season would shape up.

Gotta keep them all healthy though.

I assume Vaughan and Padgett do not have any eligibility left for CC right?

his PR's are the same as mine were coming out of HS, except his mile was a little quicker, so hopefully he progresses nicely.

in that article on espn, the last part talks about James Harrington from Cedar Rapids, IA. I know ISU was recruiting him heavily, but he's going to Alabama instead, that kid is VERY good, he'd have been a awesome pickup for ISU in the sprints.
