TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Diego Gines and Josue Urdaneta both homered in support of strong pitching performances by Jake Ridgway and Luke Patzner as Indiana State topped Southeast Missouri State in the Sycamores 2022 home opener on Tuesday afternoon, 10-1.

I was wondering the same thing. I think it maybe injury related. I’m pretty sure they were both taken out in the middle of games.

Sycs push 1 across in the 9th to def. SEMO, 5-4. Excellent relief pitching today from the frosh Cutts, whose on hit allowed was a HR to Mason...the dude he SO in the 4th to smother a rally. Good to see Hurth back in form again after a couple poor outings.

Man, SEMO fell apart in the 9th. SS let’s an easy grounder go through his legs. Next man up hits a pop up to 2nd base who drops it. All of a sudden instead of two outs and no one one we had runners on the corner with no one out.

Nice comeback win. I will take it anyway we can get it.

I couldn't believed Gergely (R-Jr.) got picked off 1B in the 8th after an opening walk. Somebody got an earful on that one! Sycs would scored that inning, but...
