the meet concluded this afternoon with two Sycamore team wins. It was a bit chilly out there for everyone.
Probably the highlights of the meet for ISU were Adarius Washington winning the 110 meter hurdles in 13.59, the 3rd fastest time in the nation (at this point). And David Timlin won his first outdoor meet of the year, running a 3:48 1500 meters.
Some of the throwers did pretty well, and Connor Curley cleared 17 feet in the pole vault. The high jumpers performed admirably as well.
Both men's relay teams ran quick, breaking 41 seconds in the 4 x 100 meter relay, and then running 3:16.82 in the 4 x 400 relay
our 2 men's 400 meter runners also ran season bests.
So all in all not a bad meet, but we'll need to seriously step it up a notch if we want any hope of a top 2 finish in the MVC outdoor meet at ISU in May
