Just watched Harvard take Rice apart on the Owl's home court. May have been because Rice couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, but they also didn't seem very interested in playing defense.

Next best thing to being there & only a $10 per game ticket if only watching ISU games but can watch all games if you want.
I have used this for early season ISU baseball trips down south for the last 3 yrs & it is satisfactory for the price (sometimes only video & no audio for baseball & only a camera or two but would expect better for this basketball event?).

Here's to next year's MTE being much higher profile and on a real network.

Yes. My fraternity brother Bob Brown has a time share so we will be there the whole week. It 10 miles or so south and off the strip on Las Vegas Blvd South, which is good I guess, since the F1 race has everything messed up I understand. Price of rental cars is ridiculous, and since we are there Saturday to the following Saturday, we will depend on UBER or LYFT to get us to the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson. Already signed us up for the Thanksgiving dinner with the team. Looking forward to it. Leaving the wives at home.....

Everyone has been complaining on social media about the mess that the F1 race setup has been causing. Not sure if mess means it looks ugly or is causing traffic issues or both. I didn't notice any construction in July, but when I was there in late September they were already working on it. I understand this is the first of ten races.

Okay, in looking at the schedule, it looks like doing a pregame on Wednesday before our 4pm game makes the most sense as that day has two women's basketball games prior to our game opening the day.

Jason lives there so he has a better prospective, but I was there last week for work and the strip was a nightmare. You couldn’t get an Uber to accept your ride anywhere, and cab drivers were consciously telling me they wouldn’t take me where I needed to go. I ended up having to walk everywhere because the streets and traffic were such a mess.

Yep, it's been a traffic nightmare for about 4 months as they've gone into overdrive repaving every road and building the track.
